Heartened by the positive response to previous editions of Leadership: Theory and Practice, this Fourth Edition is written with the same objective to bridge the gap between the often simplistic popular approaches to leadership and the more abstract theoretical approaches. As in previous editions, this new edition reviews and analyzes a selected number of leadership theories, giving special attention to how each theoretical approach may be applied to real-world situations. In essence, the purpose of Leadership: Theory and Practice is to explore how leadership theory can inform and direct the way leadership is practiced.
